Purpose

The Leading National Turf Equipment Technicians Association in the United  States. The Turf Equipment Technicians Association’s mission is to promote the image, stature, reputation and skills of the professional turf  equipment industry technician. TETA strives to provide on going educational  opportunities designed to further the technical knowledge required in this  highly competitive market. TETA is recognized as the voice for turf technicians representing their interests and stating their opinions across the USA. TETA is recognized by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) as the national Turf Equipment Technicians Association.


Founded in 1985, the Turf Equipment Technicians Association (T.E.T.A.) formerly, the Chicagoland Golf Course Mechanics Association, is a voluntary, nonprofit, national organization headquartered in Illinois. If your work involves managing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing turf industry equipment and machinery, TETA is the one organization to which you need to belong! TETA was formed by Technicians, is managed by technicians, is funded by Technicians and their employers.
